Jenny’s Dachshunds is now Merrywind Teckels!

Thank you to everyone for your continued support as we slowly make the name change from Jenny’s Dachshunds to Merrywind Teckels! A lot of thought went into the decision to change our name, but the biggest factor is how much my kids are getting involved and learning. I want our kennel name to be something that someday, hopefully far in the future but someday, if one or more of my kids want to take over and allow me to retire, Merrywind Teckels can be something we built together.

Welcome and thank you for visiting our website!  We are a small home-based breeder located in southwest Iowa committed to raising healthy, well-socialized dachshund puppies.  Our dogs and puppies live together with us in our home and are family pets first and foremost.  We carefully screen all prospective homes and believe in matching each family individually to the puppy best suited for them.  We have miniature longhair dachshunds in a variety of colors and patterns.  Take a look around and enjoy your visit!
